Principle
 
The controller calculates CP from input data from the Probe as well as the programmable CO percentage in the furnace and controls the carburisation process at the set values of CP .


Control Cycles
Heating
 
Process fluid (e.g. methanol ) started at operator set temperature .Boost fluid (e.g. acetone ) switched on at a higher preset temperature.
Carburisation / Boost
 
The system controls CP at the set value (high CP) by controlling the boost fluid flow.
Diffusion
 
At the end of the carburisation cycle , the system automatically switches the set point to the low CP value specified for diffusion ad controls the process till the diffusion cycle is over.

Cooling
 
The process fluids are switched off at the preset temperature.
