Indus Scientific Private Limited is a company devoted to the development and manufacture of Gas Analysers. The focus is on pollution monitoring, safety and atmosphere control. The company believes in in-house technology development, which leads to continual improvement in quality and performance.

The company was founded in 1996 by Dr. C.K Mathews who is the Managing Director. After taking a Ph.D. from McMaster University (Canada), Dr Mathews worked in the Indian Atomic Energy Programme (BARC, IGCAR) for over three decades. He is one of the pioneers who built nuclear technology in India, and was a Director of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research for many years. He has been responsible for developing several sensors and analytical instruments.

Dr N. C. Jayadevan has been a director of the company since its inception. He is also a Ph. D. from McMaster University and worked as a senior scientist in BARC for over 3 decades. He has specialised in instrumental methods.

With the vast experience of the Directors, the Company has been able to develop products which are of high quality and are well recieved in the market. The company also makes custom-built instruments.
