Indus model FGA503 is used to measure O2, CO and CO2 in the flue gas. Chemical sensors are employed to measure the concentrations of O2 and CO, while CO2 concentration is obtained by computation
The analyser consists of a sampling system with a built -in pump, a measuring chamber fitted with two electrochemical cells which selectively measure the concentrations of target gaes and a microprocessor based analyser which measures the outputs of the elecrochemical cells and displays them on a backlit LCD display in appropriate units. The level of each toxic gas is displayed in ppm and that of oxygen in percentage.

In the present configuration the gases measured are
O2,CO and CO2

Specifications

Dimensions & Weight: 340 x 300 x 135 mm, 4 kg

Sampler

The sampling unit consists of a stainless steel probe, a pre-filter, a water condenser and a fine filter. A built-in micro pump sucks the exhaust gas through the filters and passes tern over the sensors.

Sensors

The electrochemical sensors are sourced from major manufacturers like City Technology, UK and are manufactured specifically for toxic gas measurements in air.

Analyser
This state-of-the-art analyser is microprocessor-based. It features a front panel membrane keypad for user inputs, ports for sampler unit/calibration gas connection, a flow meter and an LCD display.

Output

Display: Backlit LCD display 16 chars, 2 line
      Interface (optional): RS-232C
Flow Meter: The flow meter permils the adjustment of an optimum flow through the sensor chamber
Key Pad: The alphanumeric keypad enables the operator to communicate with the analyser for set point, calibration etc.
      Calibration: Span gas calibration
Reproducibility: Better than 0.5 % FSR
Stability: Better than 0.5 % FSR
Accuracy: 2% + accuracy of calibration gas
Data acquisition & processing
A personal computer and printer can be provided as an optional extra to acquire the measured data periodically from the analyser and to print it in a tabular form as desired by the user. Data analysis software can be provided.

Power
230V, 50 Hz (standard). Battery operated version available on request.

Carrying Case
The instrument can be supplied with a fibre canying case at extra cost.
